1st ANNUAL PHOTO CONTEST 2010
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
We would like to see ‘India Through Your Eyes’. How you managed to capture its geography, diversity, rich glory of the past, the culture, traditions and values, food and anything, which fascinated your senses.
Submit your best-captured memories of India, for a chance to be part of the Asia New Zealand Foundation ‘Diwali Photo Exhibition 2010’ in Auckland, Wellington & Christchurch.
Eligibility:
- Professional and amateur work accepted.
- Age no criteria. If you are under 18, you need to have the consent from your parents or legal guardians.
Terms & Conditions:
Closing date for entries – 10 October 2010
- Multiple entries are accepted.
- Entries may be submitted by e-mail or post. Posted entries should not be larger then postcard size (6”X4”).
- Posted entries should be clearly marked as ‘INDIA THROUGH MY EYES’.
- All entries must be the original work of the entrant.
- If you are sending your photograph through email, please make sure your attachment should have the following:
Title of the photograph
Place where it was taken
Your name
Your contact number
Please make sure the above information is part of your attached photograph and not your email, as we will only keep the photograph on our records and not the email. Posted entries should have the information at the back of the photograph.
- Obscene or defamatory photos will not be accepted.
- 100 photographs will be shortlisted by a panel of judges for display during Diwali festivities in Auckland & Wellington.
- Submission photographs will not be returned.
- Entrants will be informed by 15 October 2010 about the outcome.
- If your entry makes it to the selection, you are required to send us a high-resolution copy of the photograph.
- Incase you don’t have an electronic copy of the photograph, you need to send us 2 copies of the selected photo/s in size A4 (8×12”)
- Photographs displayed at the exhibition will be of A4 size.
- We might use the selected photographs to promote the ‘India Through My Eyes’ event in future, we would seek the photographers permission to do so. Photographers name will be credited for the use of the photograph.
