Planet Salsa provides fun, social classes in salsa and other street Latin partner dance styles. Our aim is to get you feeling confident and social dancing as soon as possible. Our introductory workshops are perfect if you have never danced before – we will help you find your inner dancer!
CubanFusion – The Heart and Soul of Afro-Cuban Music & Dance in Wellington
From Rumba to Reggaetón, Cuban dancer/choreographer Rafael Ferrer Noel performs and teaches a range of Afro-Cuban dance styles including Rumba, Son, Mambo, Cha Cha Chá, Cuban Salsa/Casino and Reggaetón.
Rafael also sings and plays percussion in a number of Wellington-based salsa bands including Clave Latina, Calle Cuba, Los Gua Gua Boys, Grupo Salsón and most recently the acoustic duo Madera Fina.
